All rates are exlusive of breakfast. Breakfast is available at R90.00 per adult & R40.00 per Child with prior arrangement, & is Served between 8am and 9am.

PAYMENT & CANCELLATION TERMS:
A deposit of 50% of the total accommodation value is required to confirm all direct reservations. Due with in 48 hours unless otherwise arranged.
A reservation will be assumed to have been cancelled if the deposit or payment as required is not received by the due dates.
We do accept Master & Visa Cards and Bank Transfers.
 
 
 
Should any reservation be cancelled, a cancellation fee on the full booking value will apply as follows:
You will lose 50% of the deposit if you cancel your reservation 30 days or more before arrival.
You will lose 75% of the deposit if you cancel your reservation 15-29 days before arrival.
You will lose 100% of the deposit if you cancel your reservation 14 days or less before arrival.
 
Should we be able to re-book the accommodation, the cancellation fee will be 50% of the deposit.
If you have booked through a 3rd party, their cancellation policy applies.

Terms & Conditions of Accommodation:

FOREST VIEW GUEST HOUSE, the owners, management & staff shall not accept responsibility for any loss, damage or destruction of property; injury or death to person/s which may be suffered whilst on the property of FOREST VIEW GUEST HOUSE or otherwise engaged.

The Rules below are applicable to add to your accommodation satisfaction. In general, because of our guests' standard of living, most guests automatically adhere to the general rules. Please familiarize yourself with these rules.
  1. No eating or drinking in the bedrooms. A dining area and the Deck are available for the consumption of these items.
  2. No Smoking allowed in the rooms. Forest View Guest House will charge a fee for the cost of cleaning fabrics, furnishings etc if the non-smoking law is infringed, of which the cost will be no less than R100.
  3. No Music whatsoever are allowed to be played on the property.
  4. Please note: The only fridge/freezer facilities are available in the Self Catering Unit. The main kitchen fridge & freezer are stocked and can't be used for guests' beverages or food.
  5. Unless, without prior arrangement with Guest House management, no visitors are allowed on the property.
  6. Guests who harbor any unauthorized person/s in the room will be responsible for the cost of this person and may be evicted from the premises.
  7. Guests will be held liable for any loss or damage to the property of Forest View Guest House.
  8. Please treat other people in the guest house with the same respect as what you would expect from them. No noise will be tolerated after 8pm.
  9. No Drugs will be allowed on the property.
  10. Guests should not throw rubbish, refuse or a thing of any description on any part of the premises and should place such articles into the proper bins or containers.
  11. Fireworks are not permitted.
  12. Doors are to be locked for security reasons. Please ensure that the front door & garage doors (should you be making use of this facility) are locked at all times.
  13. Check-in times are strictly between 2pm - 7pm. No check-ins will be done after 7pm.
  14. Check-out time is strictly no later than 11am, as we need to prepare the rooms for new guests.

All residents are taken to have read and fully accept all the conditions and rules of the guest house. In the event that any guest/s do not comply with the above rules & regulations the management of Forest View Guest House will ask the offending person/s to leave the property immediately. In such circumstances the person/s will still be liable for the full amount of the anticipated stay and no refunds will be done.
